You will work based on a cross-professional and learning-centered approach with a needs-adapted individual women's care. You will have the option to focus on delivery or postpartum care.

You will avoid fixed rotations between the different areas. Instead, your work is guided by women's needs and a continuity principle.

You will receive a clear structure in leadership. Head of Nursing and Head of Medicine work in alignment.

Even if you are already experienced, you will continue to develop. All midwives at BB Stockholm build a high level of competence in all areas, and you are not niche-focused in the same way as in a traditional department.

What do we wish from you?

You are a licensed midwife. Your personality is as important as your experience. As a person, you are social, flexible, and unpretentious.

You can be newly graduated or have several years of experience. The important thing is not that you have worked for twenty years, but that you look at your job with curious eyes. You know that the woman is the one doing the work - you are there for her, and her needs guide your expertise.

BB Stockholm provides health care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Our specialist maternity care, delivery, and postpartum care are located at Danderyd Hospital, where approximately 3,800 children are born each year.

We operate at four midwifery clinics (BMM) and one child health center (BVC) with an associated breastfeeding clinic. At the midwifery clinics, we offer care during pregnancy, contraceptive counseling, and gynecological cell sampling.

Starting in the fall of 2024, BB Stockholm can offer the care model My Midwife, where pregnancy check-ups take place at BB Stockholm Family Kungsholmen and delivery at BB Stockholm delivery. In late fall 2024, BB Stockholm will also start an ultrasound clinic for obstetric ultrasounds at BB Stockholm Family City.

Patients and expectant and new parents have a significant influence on care. Our overarching strategy is that health care should be conducted with respect, commitment, and quality.

The employees in our company are our greatest asset. At BB Stockholm, midwives, nursing assistants, and doctors work with patient care. All doctors are specialists and have extensive experience in obstetric and maternal health care. In addition to staff involved in direct care, we also have administrative staff and staff responsible for kitchens, storage, and other facilities. We also supervise students from midwifery and medical programs.
